A pop up outlet box is hidden in your countertop or floor when closed, all you see is a stylish ORB top. When you push the button the top tilts open revealing the outlets. It can be installed on concrete structures, floors, dining tables, marble countertops, kitchen countertops.Waterproof gasket features IP44 water rating. The product features two 20A power receptacles, UL listed. The cover is made of solid alloy, and the box made of stainless steel. Prior to installation, a professional cutter should cut a square hole in the desired location of the receptacle. Junction Box Dimensions: 3.81*3.81*2.63 inches Receptacle and Cover Dimensions: 4.75*4.75*2.7 inches (when closed) Any excess wires should be pushed out of the box or made to be as flat as possible on the bottom of the steel box. Failure to push the wires out of the box or make it flat in the box will interfere with the opening mechanism and the unit will not be able to pop open. An additional plastic plate is provided to prevent the entry of dirt when installing the junction box. It can be removed when installing the outlet.
