THIS MODEL PLUGS INTO YOUR NEMA 10-30 DRYER OUTLET: Used with your 3-prong 240-volt outlet found in homes built before 1997. To use this model, your EV charger/EV must be set to 24 amps or lower. We recommend using an adjustable Level 2 EVSE such as Chargepoint, Grizzl-e, Wallbox, or Emporia. This model works perfectly with the Tesla Mobile Connector when using Tesla's NEMA 10-30 adapter and will NOT work with the mobile charger provided by Audi, Chevy, VW, and Ford as this charger pulls 32 amps which will trip your breaker. This 10-30 model may require a NEMA 14-50R to NEMA 10-30P adapter. Please refer to the product pictures to verify that your wall outlet matches.
