AWD's Manuka Honey Gauze Dressing is a disposable sterile product, made of 100% Impregnated Manuka Medical Grade Honey to effectively treat acute and chronic wounds, such as postoperative incisions, tear, laceration, diabetic ulcer, pressure ulcer, leg ulcer, etc, while providing a moist environment conducive to wound healing. Manuka Honey has been shown to have several properties which assist in promoting an optimal healing environment. It has a low pH, and has been shown to help lower the overall wound pH, which is beneficial to chronic wounds.
