【LED Indicator Status】The black GFCI outlet has an LED indicator. A green light means the wiring is correct and the outlet is functioning properly. If the light is off, there is no power, a miswiring issue, or a malfunction. Pressing the TEST button causes the RESET button to pop up and turns off the power. If the RESET button pops up but the outlet remains powered on, it indicates a faulty leakage protection and the outlet should be replaced.
