About Off-Grid Knives - Raptor EDC Folding Knife With
RAPTOR The prehistoric Raptor used it's claws to cut, slice and dice it's prey as well as any predator that walked the Earth. Definitely my personal favorite dinosaur, so why not create a knife in it's honor? Like all Off-Grid designs, the Raptor was made with hard-use cutting in mind, with an EDC friendly size. The extremely sharp hawkbill style tip offers an incredible penetrating "bite" into whatever you're cutting, and the straight edge finishes the job. In addition to the curved tip and straight edge 1-2 punch, the edge has a lot of mass behind it with a wide radius blade shape and grind lines traveling towards the tip for extra strength. The G10 handle offers a strong, grippy three finger hold with a large finger guard, textured scales and extended jimping on the spine. The fat belly blade rides on ball bearings which deploys using the flipper tab. Your grip will be locked in and ready for the task at hand as your thumb will naturally land on the gippy spine. The steel is D2 with a blackwash finish. The Raptor rides super deep in your pocket with the option of left hand carry. Bestech built the Raptor for Off-Grid with the usual superb fit and finish.
