White Peony is a literal translation of this tea's Chinese name, Bai Mu Dan. It is named after the tea plant's small, white flowers, whose natural scent is reminiscent of China's beloved peonies. Grown in TIAN HU SHAN Garden, in the cool misty mountains of Fujian province, this style of white tea pairs sweet, silver-haired buds with additional young leaves for full complexity and a fresh taste. The leaves, which have simply been withered and sun-dried, produce an infusion with a beautifully rounded texture and a comforting, pure flavou.
