Each hand hewn mantel piece starts as a solid log from Michigan’s Upper Peninsula. These rustic looking beams are each different from one another, they include nail holes, knots, and hand hewn marks. All mantels are kiln dried, making them suitable for long term use indoors. These mantels will last for many years to come. While looking great above your fireplace, they will enhance the rustic look of any room and are the perfect spot to display family photos, or any décor. They will certainly draw attention with their very rustic look. With four color options available, our mantels will fit in with the color pallet and décor of your home. The coffee color option will look great in your modern farmhouse setting, while our honey option showcases the natural beauty of the wood. Our unfinished option allows you to give the mantel your own unique touch of color. The driftwood color option gives a unique weathered look. Mounting hardware is not included. The mantels are solid wood, it is our recommendation that you speak to your contractor about mounting this piece. The longer length of the mantels may be heavy and exceed 80Lbs.
