These hoodies have been around for generations in Mexico before becoming popular in the United States in the 1970's. Known as the baja hoodie, beach hoodie, drug rug or jerga, they are the perfect addition to any wardrobe. Great for the beach, mountains and anywhere in between. Made of a combination of recycled and virgin fabrics which keeps fabric from going to landfills. Each poncho has a brushed interior for added comfort and warmth. Made directly in Mexico (NOT INDIA OR CHINA like other competitors) by a multi-generational family of weavers who still weave on traditional looms.
