This cable can be used to split a 3.5mm unbalanced stereo signal into two 1/4" TS(left/right) unbalanced mono signals, or to combine two 1/4" mono signals(left/right) into a single 3.5mm stereo signal. It splits closer to the 1/4 TS ends, the distance to the split point is about 19.8 inches(50 cm).
