About Miracle-Gro Indoor Potting Mix, Blended For A
Grow amazing houseplants with Miracle-Gro® Indoor Potting Mix. Blended for a wide variety of container plants, this potting mix is designed to be less prone to gnats*. This mix has an easy-to-water formula and feeds for up to 6 months. Coconut coir holds and releases water and helps the soil re-wet. Apply this potting soil to indoor potted plants, including common houseplants, tropicals, climbing plants, foliage plants, and flowering plants. To use, select a pot with a drainage hole and fill about 1/3 full with potting mix. Loosen the plant’s root ball and place in the pot. Add more mix and press lightly. Water the plant; let it drain. Mix should be allowed to dry to the touch between waterings. To avoid soil compaction and replenish nutrients, container plants should be repotted every year or as needed. This bundles includes two 6-quart bags of Miracle-Gro® Indoor Potting Mix, each able to fill one 12-inch container (amounts may vary depending on the size of the root ball). *Contains no compost or bark, which are known to shelter fungus gnats.
