Water drains into a holding tank or directly to your drain with the built-in hose connection. Best of all, you set the humidity threshold so the Automatic Digital Control turns the unit on and off to regulate the humidity to your specifications. *Upon initial purchase you will need to adjust the humidity threshold to ensure it is at the appropriate level for the area. It may take up to 24 hours for the dehumidifier to adjust to the environment
