Carolina Kettle Chips are seasoned to perfection with a unique combination of Carolina grown spices, herbs and flavors. Josh monahan started his company, 1 in 6 snacks, in 2016, while still a junior agribusiness management major at North Carolina state University. His classes at NC state University were invaluable as he developed the business, as was his lifetime of watching his parents run the popular flavored nut retailer the peanut roaster out of Henderson, North Carolina. With bold flavors that reflect traditional Southern recipes, josh's handcrafted chips are made to satisfy. His Carolina Kettle brand of snacks are also all-natural, gluten-free, kosher certified, and free of trans fats. To achieve their outrageous crunch (and genuine Carolina flavor), Josh starts with the finest potatoes available, and then hand-cooks them in small batch kettles using 100 percent sunflower oil.
