Brasstache was created to goof things up. As a company made up of Chicago musicians, we know learning an instrument is as challenging as it is rewarding. We believe having as much fun along the way should be part of that journey! In addition to novelty attachments, Brasstache continues to create original products like The Spit Catcher, a more practical accessory to anyone making music on a wind or brass instrument. Wondering which size to order? For Trombone, Baritone, and Euphonium, most beginning students start on a small shank/bore instrument. Generally students will not move to a large bore instrument until High school or College or once they change instruments. We believe this to be the case 90 percent of the time. There is a more in depth guide on our website. We have also been asked about Mellophone mouthpieces. We have found that the Trumpet model best fits Mellophone mouthpieces. If you accidentally purchase the wrong size, fear not! We will happily replace the order with the correct one.
