The name “Numa” comes from the Chinese characters for daughter, “Nu”, and mother, “Ma,” as our story started in my mother’s kitchen, where only fresh, delicious, and nutritious food can be found and nothing artificial. Inspired by a timeless Asian treat from her childhood, Asian nougat, and faced with the challenge of satisfying her child’s sweet tooth in a healthier manner, my mother reimagined a traditional recipe with a modern take. Today, we are proud to introduce these guilt-free, subtly sweet snacks that are perfect whenever you may go!
