The coir grow mats are made from half an inch of thickly woven, self-bound sustainable coconut fiber which means they won't fall apart. The grow mats can be used as mulch mats or as a plant cover to retain moisture and prevent the roots from drying. The natural growing media is used in hydroponics, microgreens, seed starters and also in cannabis. The biodegradable mats are designed to lay underneath baskets, and slabs and cubes where the roots continue to grow under coco mats where moisture remains in a hydroponic tray between flood cycles protecting them from drying out.
