This is a waterproof linear actuator with an IP67M protection rating that is capable of functioning while submerged underwater for short periods of time. It is primarily used for applications in potentially harsher environments like in the marine industry. It is compatible with a variety of our control boxes and control systems. 5 Tips to extend PA-06 lifespan: -Install the actuator in a configuration so that the force being experienced by the shaft is at the correct angle and position that line up to the push and pull direction of the actuator’s travel path. -Ensure the force that is being experienced by the actuator's shaft is within the force rating of the unit you selected. -Allow the PA-06 actuator to have sufficient off time to cool down so that the motor does not overheat by staying within the 10% duty cycle rating (2 minutes on, 18 minutes off). -Install the actuator in a configuration that allows for the actuator to fully extend and fully retract completely so that it can reach the internal limit switches at the end of travel. -Shut off all electrical power to the motor once it is no longer being used to avoid any risk of motor burnouts due to the actuator not having the full range of motion for reaching limit switches.
