Just take it out of the box and put it on a mug of hot coffee, wait for seconds, then give the flywheel a gentle turn and you're up and running! The start temperature differential between the two panels is around 20°C/68°F, lower than most of the engines on the market.

This Stirling engine is driven by the Temperature Differential between the top and bottom panels. The simplest way to create enough temperature differential is placing it atop a mug of hot water. Rotating speed highly depends on the temperature differential: the higher, the faster.
