The Saramonic SmartRig UC is a compact audio interface that enables you to connect a professional microphone, guitar or instrument to any Android Smartphone or Tablet and Computers with USB-C. There’s an incredible number of amazing music-making apps that turn your device into a pocket-sized recording studio, and the SmartRig UC lets you use them to their full potential. You can also plug in a pro shotgun mic, wireless lavalier or any mic to vastly improve the sound quality of the videos you shoot. Content creators, journalists and podcasters can use the SmartRig UC to make excellent sounding recordings anywhere they happen to be. A built-in high-quality mic preamp gives you all the power you need to get great sound, and you can dial in the perfect level. Condenser mics can be supplied with +48 volts of phantom power, which makes it possible to use almost any kind of mic. A 3.5mm headphone output on the SmartRig UC lets you hear your apps in real-time, and to listen to the playback (app dependent). You just plug it into the USB-C port, turn on the power switch, and launch the app of your choice. Connect any kind of guitar or mic and let your creativity run wild. The combo input on the SmartRig UC allows you to plug in either 3-pin XLR or 1/4” (6.35mm) connectors. The 1/4” input is impedance-matched to provide the best sound quality for instruments. Whether you’re laying down a track on a new song, recording a podcast episode in the field, or shooting a viral video for YouTube. Powered by a 9V battery, the SmartRig UC does not use your device’s power. Giving you more time to create and perform. The SmartRig UC features a 1/4”-20 thread on the back of the device for nearly limitless rigging options and the Included strap make it easy to attach to a selfie stick, tripod or mic stand.
