With more and more cyclists riding and racing over mixed surfaces, we've certainly seen an influx of all-road components to hit the market as of late. The newest product to enter the fold are saddles from Selle Italia and with its Novus Boost Gravel Tech Superflow L Saddle, you can tackle those multi-hour grinders in total comfort. Featuring a compact shape and rounded profile, its designed especially for gravel riding and offers a variety of positions that'll quickly be appreciated while climbing, motoring along in the flats, or descending washboard roads. That refined shape works in conjunction with its variable density padding and silicone gel under its durable microfiber cover that provides seated comfort regardless of the terrain or distance. Much like the other saddles with the Superflow moniker in Selle Italia's lineup, the Novus Boost Gravel Tech's Gel Flow anatomic cut-out virtually eliminates pressure on the perineum and other soft tissue. This saddle situates under its L3 idmatch meaning its slightly wider shell is suited for those with broader sit bones and who's fit requires high pelvic rotation. The additional comfort this saddle offers is a given, however, one of our favorite details is the large reflective treatment it adds to the rear of the saddle. It offers impressive visibility in low-light conditions and provides peace of mind when we forget to grab a taillight and we're out riding for longer than expected. Finally, fixing the saddle to your seatpost is Selle Italia's TI316 rails utilizing titanium tubing for impressive durability over rougher roads and gravel while dropping some grams and helping to take the sting out of repeated braking bump hits.
