About Low Temperature Cold Activated Thermochromic

ATLANTA CHEMICAL ENGINEERING offers NON-TOXIC Thermochromic Powder Pigments. They are Leuco Dye micro-encapsulated, which change color activated by temperature. Our Themochromic Powder Pigments have various colors and activation temperatures. When the temperature rises over/under certain degree, the pigment turns from one color to another. But the process is reversible- when it gets cold/hot, the pigment turns back to its original color. This listing is for 10 grams COLD activated PINK changing to BLUE at 54 degrees Fahrenheit (12 degrees Celsius). It could be mixed with materials such as glue, varnishes, resins, mediums, gels, silicons, liquid plastics/polymers, and many more. Use clear binder with neutral PH 7. The main factor in the Color Changing Process is your room temperature, the temperature of your binder and your hands. We added different activation (color changing) temperatures. Pick the one that matches your own needs. The pigment doesn't mix with water. Our products can be used for Home/School projects, Science Experiments, Arts & Crafts, Cosmetics, Cold Beverages, Beer, Wine Labels or wherever your imagination takes you.If you're planning to making Color Changing Slime with this cold activated pigment, you need to place your slime in the refrigerator for at least one hour in order to reach the activation point (54 F) which will make the color change. Then touching with your hands will bring it back to original PINK. NOTE: Colors may not appear exactly as seen on photo in real life due to variations between the computer monitors and naked eye color difference.
