Note: To extend the veil's life, the fabric is purposefully post-treated to be less soft because the silk is so thin and delicate (otherwise it would not flow). As a result, the veil could seem a little stiff in comparison to your silk pajamas, but it is made entirely of actual silk and will eventually soften.

Made of 5mm lightweight real silk, the veil weighs around 60grams (2 ounces). It flows freely and effortlessly and is extremely responsive to every movement.

The borders are in exactly the same color as the veil. Professional hand rolled hems with invisible threads makes it easy to find the edges of the veil, and they do not affect the overall lightness of the silk.

Most of the items we make, our photos do not do their beauty justice. It is up to you to bring them to life. Made of 100% real natural silk fabric (Not any artificial fabric or imitation silk which other sellers call "silk"). The fabric is made in large silk factory by advanced machines. No broken threads. We carefully screened for holes and distortions. Made of light weighted 5 mommes silk, the veil floats very well. Colors are hand painted by professional workers who has tens of years experience. Gradations are smooth. The veil has had special treatment to feel better in texture and look more shiny. Most other silk do not undergo these treatment. The difference can only be felt when you have the fabric in hand. Edges are hand rolled by diligent Chinese hand workers. Takes half an hour to finish rolling 1 piece. Hand rolled edges do not show threads of any different color. They are also easy to be sensed by the fingers. The veil is originally 114cm (45") wide, but only around 110cm (43.3") wide after 5cm (2") is rolled into the edges. Screened for defects. Bad ones are sold at half price. Please avoid washing the veils. Silk is thin and fragile. If you have to, gently hand wash in cold water by mild detergent. Natural air dry. Steam iron. Some color may run out during first wash.
