Gives you the ability to control pump speeds through the fan header on the motherboard that would otherwise not be adjustable. By lowering pump speeds, it is possible to reduce the buzzing noise that some pumps generate. BIOS tuning or additional software may be necessary to achieve desired results. Includes: 1 x 4pin GPU Mini (F) to 4pin Fan Connector (M) Notes: This does not allow PWM control unless the fan or pump is capable of PWM control. For example, EVGA hybrid pumps only have 2pins in the header, therefore PWM control is not possible regardless of the adapter you use. Voltage control is possible through the use of additional software, like Argus Monitor. Lowering the voltage of the pump in addition of using the adapter will reduce the pump fan speed which will reduce the noise. If you are looking to control the speed of a fan or pump through voltage, changes will need to be made in the BIOS if available or using additional software that allows more control with fans such as previously mentioned Argus Monitor.
