Artizen Fractionated Coconut Oil 16oz is 100% is intended as therapeutic grade carrier oil rather than for cooking in the kitchen. Light carrier oils, like coconut oil, can be combined with essential oils using popular recipes to create lotions, soaps, massage oil, shampoos, and leave in conditioners. Our non-greasy, odorless, and colorless coconut oil will not stain clothing and fabric. It has great softening properties. Fractionated oil involves separating the various fats in regular coconut oil with the aid of heat. This produces a liquid coconut oil with a long shelf life. No additional chemicals are used during this process. Some people use coconut oil in their daily routine as a skin moisturizer to soothe dry skin, straight from the bottle. Others dilute carrier oils like this one with essential oils to make massage oil. Still others blend it with essential oils to make massage, skincare, body oil, and hair care products, such as shampoo or hair tonic.
