About Miracle-Gro Expand 'n Gro Concentrated Planting
Grow your garden with Miracle-Gro® Expand 'n Gro® Concentrated Planting Mix. This planting soil substitute expands up to 3X when combined with equal parts water, and contains fertilizer to feed plants for up to 6 months. Use this gardening product with most plant types as a potting mix for container plants or as a soil amendment for in-ground gardens. All natural fibers hold up to 50% more water than basic potting soil. In addition, it makes soil in gardens up to 40% lighter and creates up to 90% more air space for plant roots to thrive. To use in containers, fill a pot with a drain hole about 1/3 full of mix. Gradually add water and stir. After mix has fully expanded, plant as usual. When using in gardens, spread a 1" layer of planting mix over the area to be planted. Mix with the top 4-6 inches of soil before planting as usual. Water plants thoroughly to finish.
