Highly elastic and multi-purpose, Sikaflex-221 is suitable for making permanent elastic seals of high adhesive strength.

PERFORMANCE: 1-C formulation. NSF approved for drinkable water and incidental food contact. Can be sanded and painted.

DURABILITY: Resistant to weathering exposure. Lower VOC’s.

SUPPORTS: Bonds well to a wide variety of substrates: wood, metals, metal primers and paint coatings (2-c systems), ceramic materials and plastics.

APPLICATION: Used for the panel sealing and bonding, root base sealing, nacelle sealing, tower sealing, installation & perimeter sealing, general metal construction sealing, metal panels, roofing, flooring bonding, cabinets, flooring and trim.

Sikaflex-221 is a high-quality multi-purpose non-sag 1-c polyurethane sealant/adhesive that cures on exposure to atmospheric humidity to form a durable elastomer. Sikaflex-221 bonds well to a wide variety of substrates and is suitable for making permanent elastic seals of high adhesive strength. Suitable substrate materials are wood, metals, metal primers and paint coatings (2-c systems), ceramic materials and plastics.
