As avid notebook users we were continually frustrated by losing our favorite pen, forgetting it at home or the office or searching for it in the bottom of our handbag. Clipping a pen to the cover or spine is awkward, and loose pens and pencils have a way of not being found when they are needed most. Because of this, we were inspired to produces an elegant way to attach a pen to a notebook. As a result we found the best grade of leather and thread for stitching, in addition to researching the most common sizes and styles of pens, pencils, markers and various notebook sizes to develop the best designed and most versatile pen holder possible.
