About Hennessy Hammock Jungle Expedition Zip

The Jungle Expedition Zip is designed for the buggiest jungles on the planet such as Borneo, the Amazon, the Congo or just down by the river. It has two layers of tightly woven 40d nylon for 100% bug proof protection for anyone up to 6 ft and 250 lbs / 183 cm and 114 kg.. The Expedition is the hammock that started the hammock camping revolution and is still the favourite all-purpose Hennessy Hammock- great for backpacking, family camping, expeditions, kayaking, motorcycling, and any other purposes which requires comfort and durability. The Jungle Expedition Zip has a double layer bottom with 40 denier nylon for greater mosquito protection and to hold the Radiant Heat Reflecting Double Bubble Pad between the layers and on the correct diagonal. One of the nicest things about the Jungle models is to climb into your hammock with your sleeping bag and not have to think about keeping an insulation pad from moving around under you during the night. NOTE: The double bottom jungle models are designed for temperatures down to 40*F / 4*C. when used with the accessory Double Bubble Heat Reflecting Pad. If you are planning to use a hammock in colder temperatures, we recommend a single bottom hammock with the accessory SuperShelter 4 Season System or one of our 4 Season hammock models as a more flexible choice because additional insulating materials can be added as needed. The Expedition has an asymmetrical shape, which provides exceptional comfort when lying on the diagonal, and a structural ridgeline which ensures the exact same bed every night and a perfect setup every time. They also have several thoughtful details including a triangular mesh gear loft and small gear clips that slide on the ridgeline, carabiner loops and complimentary webbing straps to protect the bark of trees.
