Locking springs that deliver smooth hydraulic supportWhen considerable forces influence moving construction parts, reliable locking is vitally important. The piston rod of our lockable gas springs can easily be adjusted to any required position along the whole stroke by actuating the release pin, and can be locked anywhere along the complete stroke. By pushing the release pin the piston valve opens and allows gas or oil to flow through the piston. As a result, the piston rod extends or can be pushed in. When the release pin is no longer being pushed, the valve closes independently and the piston rod is locked in the desired position.Our lockable gas springs can be adapted to suit a wide variety of applications.
