About TotalBoat-487738 TotalProtect Epoxy Barrier Coat

TotalBoat TotalProtect is a highbuild epoxy primer for use above and below the waterline. It creates a barrier coat to prevent water absorption and migration, the main cause of blistered fiberglass hulls. It is also an excellent primer for all underwater metals. This 2 part primer can be used with all paints. 3 to 1 mix ratio formula is easy to use, dries quickly, and requires no sanding. After mixing thoroughly, allow an induction period of 15 minutes prior to reduction and application. TotalBoat TotalProtect is a very thick coating that typically needs to be thinned to improve flow, for best results. TotalBoat Epoxy Primer Thinner 200 is the required thinner for TotalProtect. Do not use any other thinner to reduce. TotalProtect is very easy to apply by brushing, rolling, or spraying. If rolling, use a 3/16" nap or foam solvent-safe roller cover, for best results.
