About Simplex 3201.051 50 : 40 Replacement Simplex Soft
The blue rubber simplex face insert is the made from a TPE rubber material. It is the softest material that Halder offers in a hammer face. It is a special 2" oversized replacement insert that is designed to fit the smaller series 40 Simplex housing. The 40 series typically takes a 1.57" face insert. It is perfect for hitting materials that can be damaged such as furniture, flooring, window and door trim and is also used in many manufacturing applications. This material will not leave marks on the material you are hitting which makes it a favorite of wood workers.
