Every Twisted Oak Walking Stick is crafted one at a time by our master craftsmen. The process starts by choosing the best, sustainably harvested lumber. From that point the wood is brought to our Texas facility where it is cut to size, carefully worked on a router, and sanded to a smooth perfection. How to Size a Walking Stick Sizing a walking stick is largely a matter of personal preference, but we do offer recommendations based on our 20 years' experience in the hiking stick and walking cane business: 48" for adults up to 5'4"; 55" for adults between 5'4" and 5'11"; and 58" for adults taller than 5'11".
