These 3x3 nonwoven sponges can be used for several applications at home and in healthcare facilities. They are suitable for cleaning wounds, and for prepping and scrubbing applications. These wound cleaning sponges are non-sterile. They are designed to resist fraying and produce less residual lint, for cleaner and neater usage. They are a polyester and rayon blend so that they will give the wearer a soft and comfortable feel against the skin. The 4-ply construction of nonwoven sponges allows them to absorb lots of blood and other fluids. This keeps the area around a wound clean and comfortable. They are more absorbent than traditional woven gauze and intended for single-use applications.
