About Enerlites MDC-50L Ceiling Sensor Commercial Grade

Dual-Technology Ceiling Sensor utilizes the benefits of advanced passive infrared (PIR) and ultrasonic technologies to provide 360 degree accurate occupancy detection on a coverage range of 1600 sqft for PIR and 1000 sqft for Ultrasonic sensor. The ceiling sensor is designed for a ceiling height of about 8-10 feet. Application of duel sensor technologies in one sensor helps to avoid false triggering. MDC-50L has multi-level, 360° Fresnel lens for superior occupancy detection. The 360 degree commercial grade ceiling sensor allows 6 detection mode options so users can set to trigger ON when both PIR and Ultrasonic sensor detect occupancy or either PIR or Ultrasonic sensor detects motion; The light turns OFF automatically when no motion was detected for the set delay time by both of the sensor technology or either of them depending on user's setting. Time delay set: 5sec/autoset, 30 sec, 5min, 10 min, 15 min, 20min, 25 min and 30 min; Ultrasonice Sensitivity is adjustable through turning sensitivity adjustment trimpot; PIR adjustment: 50% or 100%; Ambient light level adjustable: 100Lux to dailight by turning clockwise the trimpot; Override all sensor functions is easy to set by switch DIP #8. Enerlites MDS-50L 360 degree dual-tech ceiling sensor is ideal lighting control, energy efficiency and security solution for offices and other commercial areas. ATTENTION: This MDC-50L Operated on 24V supplied by MPP-24 Power Pack. Mounted on the ceiling of a closed office off-center area, should stay away from door opening area to avoid detecting people passing by, and should stay 4 feet to 6 feet away from air supply ducts to avoid false activation. Open Office Area Coverage: To get complete coverage in an open office area, install multiple sensors so that there is an overlap with each adjacent sensor’s coverage area
