Product Description Rain Bird FT/50S Drip Irrigation Barbed Fitting Insertion Tool for 1/2" Drip Tubing. Installation of barbed Drip fittings can be a grueling, hand numbing job. Using half-the-effort of hands alone, this handy fitting insertion tool will make fast work of even the largest Drip system installations. Provides users with the fastest, and easiest connection of barbed fittings to 1/2" Drip irrigation tubing. Firmly locks fittings in place so maximum leverage is applied for a quick, easy, leak-tight connection. Flaring component on side of tool can be used to widen tube openings for smoothest and easiest possible fitting insertion. Ergonomically-shaped tool fits comfortably in hand and is constructed of a durable heavy-gauge plastic. For use with all Rain Bird 1/2" barbed couplings, elbows and tees. Highly visible purple color allows tool to be easily seen in grass, soil, bark, mulch etc. ***Usage tip: To make it even more effective, rock the insertion tool slightly from side to side as you apply pressure.
