Indications Sept 30/2014 Ingredients 'SUGAR, ENRICHED FLOUR BLEACHED (WHEAT FLOUR, MALTED BARLEY FLOUR, NIACIN, IRON, THIAMIN MONONITRATE, RIBOFLAVIN, FOLIC ACID), CORN SYRUP, COCOA PROCESSED WITH ALKALI, PALM OIL, SALT, CAROB POWDER, CORN STARCH, ARTIFICIAL FLAVOR.' Directions You Will Need: 1/4 cup vegetable oil, 2 Tablespoons water, 1 egg. (For cakelike brownies, increase water to 1/4 cup). 1. Heat oven to 350 degrees F (or 325 degrees F for dark or nonstick pan). Grease bottom only of 8-inch square pan. 2. Stir brownie mix, oil, water and egg with spoon about 50 times (batter may be lumpy). Spread in pan. 3. Bake 26 to 28 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out almost clean; cool. High Altitude (3500-6500 ft): Heat oven to 350 degrees F (any type of pan). Stir 1 Tbsp all-purpose flour into dry brownie mix. Make batter using 2 Tbsp oil, or 3 Tbsp water and 1 egg for regular brownies, 2 eggs for cakelike brownies. Bake 27-29 minutes. Betty's Tip: For easy cutting, be sure to cool brownies at least 1 hour, and use a plastic knife.
