About Lakeland ChemMax 3 Heat Sealed Taped Seam Coverall
Lakeland ChemMax 3 coverall with respirator fit hood, double storm flap with hook and loop, elastic face and wrists, attached boots with boot flaps. ChemMax 3 garments offer latest technology for superior protection against a broad spectrum of toxic industrial chemicals, dual use chemicals, chemical warfare agents and other harmful contaminates. The multi-layer film is applied to a heavy polypropylene nonwoven for increased strength and durability. The barrier film is significantly softer. A heat sealed seam is sewn and then sealed with a heat activated tape. This method provides liquid proof seams, and is especially useful for Level A and B chemical protective clothing. Basis weight: 4.5 ounce/square yards; Grab tensile machine direction: 58.7 pounds; Grab tensile cross direction: 42.2 pounds; Trapezoidal tear machine direction: 25.6 pounds; Trapezoidal tear cross direction: 19.8 pounds; Ball burst: 54.5 pounds.
