It is made of melamine resin for durability and resistance to stains, scratches, and breaking. This bowl is suitable for temperatures up to 212 degrees F, dishwasher-safe, and free of BPA (Bisphenol A) to address food safety concerns raised by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and other organizations. It meets NSF International standards for use in food handling and processing, and National Institute of Standards.
