Product Description The Snap-On JH Williams EB-9T 7/8-Inch plain eyebolt has 9 threads per-Inch and has an overall length of 5 9/16-Inches. It has an ultimate strength of 35,000 pounds. It is forged from the best quality carbon steel and is hardened and tempered to ensure increased strength and toughness to reduce liability and breakage. Plain pattern eyebolts must never be used to lift an angular load. The eyebolt shanks should never be undercut or eyebolt shank diameter is reduced. To obtain greatest strength from an eyebolt, it must fit reasonably tight in the hole into which it is screwed to prevent unscrewing due to twist of cable. The tightness and seating must be checked after initial load. From the Manufacturer The JH Williams EB-9T 7/8-Inch plain eyebolt has 9 threads per-Inch and has an overall length of 5 9/16-Inches.
