The Delcast 30JY Pencil Tip Soldering Iron is ideal for electronics soldering. The low wattage iron runs at a temperature that is safe to use on heat sensitive electronics PCB. It has a polarized 2-prong US plug (one prong is wider than the other) which helps it stay connected to the power outlet. The 30JY soldering iron comes preinstalled with a fine precision point soldering tip. The tip may be replaced by loosening the screws on either side of the barrel.The included rosin core solder has a eutectic ratio of 63% tin to 37% lead.
