Japanese Kita-Boshi OTP-series are unique 2mm mechanical pencils with the "old-school" look and feel of a classic wooden pencil, that will remind you of your childhood days. This knock-style wooden lead holder was created for those who prefer the feel of a wooden hexagonal pencil while enjoying the convenience and the advantage of a mechanical pencil. The lead holder has a natural wood body of premium American Cedar with its rich warm wood finish. The barrel diameter is slightly larger than a regular pencil to accommodate for adult hands. Its light weight and excellent balance make it easy to use for long periods without fatigue. The well-engineered clutch will hold the 2mm lead securely in place without slipping, no matter how much pressure is put on the lead. Located on top is a simple mushroom shaped knock button to release and return the lead back into the holder. The high-quality, Japan-made #1 B black lead is crafted by uniformly mixing pure graphite and clay, to achieve the ultimate resilience to breaking and the perfect smoothness. One 2mm #1 pencil lead is already included inside the holder. A unique and convenient lead sharpener is also included, which features a leaf shaped spring that has four cutting edges instead of a single blade. You can sharpen the lead by twisting it from left to right. Perfect for writing, sketching and drawin, etc. Available in natural wood color, indigo (blue) and madder (red). Refill leads are available in packs of 5 in a sturdy cylindrical cardboard holder.
