About 3B Scientific A22/1 Plastic Painted 3 Part Classic
The 3B Scientific A22/1 human skull model is used for anatomical and dental study, and dissembles into three parts--skull cap, base of skull, and mandible—for effective demonstration. The model has an open mandible to expose the tooth roots with vessels and nerves, and depicts fissures, foramina, processes, and sutures for detailed examination. The A22/1 model has red muscle origins and blue insertions on its left side, and numbered bones, bone components, fissures, foramina, and other structures, on both sides for accurate identification. The model’s sutures, meningeal vessels, and venous sinuses are also colored for visual identification. The skull has an original cast for accurate representation, and is made of polyvinyl chloride (PVC) plastic, which is corrosion resistant, lightweight, and has high strength. PVC resists reactions with acids, gasoline, alcohol, and hydrocarbons. The model measures 7.9 x 5.3 x 6.1 inches/20.0 x 13.5 x 15.5cm (H x W x D). (H is the vertical distance from the lowest to highest point; W is the horizontal distance from left to right; D is the horizontal distance from front to back.)
