Achillea millefolium, or Yarrow, is a hardy perennial that is a favorite of many gardeners. It reaches 18 – 24 inches in height and the same in width, forming a nice clump. This Summer Pastel Mix has 3 – 4 inch flower clusters with pastel shades of pink, rose, orange-red, purple, gray, salmon and mauve.

This yarrow mix grows as a perennial in USDA zones 3 - 10.

The flower clusters are long-lasting and make a great cut flower, and it dries well for use in dried arrangements. To dry, hang the Yarrow upside down in a well-ventilated, dark, dry room.

Sowing Rate: 6 - 7 seeds per plant or approximately 1000 seeds covers 75 square feet. Start Yarrow seed indoors 6 – 8 weeks before the last expected frost date. Press the seed into soil, lightly cover it and keep the seed moist. With a temperature of 68F, germination is usually in 21 days.
