About Microplane Artisan Series Cheese Grater And Zester
The Artisan series from Microplane is a contemporary addition to our Collection of paddle-shaped graters. The large surface area of this cooks tool offers ample space to make fast work grating cheese and shredding vegetables. This blade is bi-directional, which differs from other Microplane grater blades, because the edge, or tooth, is sharp on both sides. This means you can shred cheese pushing down The grater towards the counter, and also pulling the cheese up towards the handle area. Why are 2 side blades helpful? It makes this kitchen grater twice as fast as a regular blade to get the results you need. The great thing about Microplane blades is each grater blade is made from durable stainless steel that resists rust and is hardened to reduce flex. Microplane blades are etched, not stamped like many blades from China. Couple the stainless steel with a plastic frame for a bit of color and enjoy a soft touch ergonomic handle.
