Helianthus annuus is commonly known as Sunflower. These giants of the flower garden are prized for their showy flower heads. This variety, Joker, is bi-colored with yellow and red that makes a beautiful starburst design.
Sunflowers grow in USDA zones 3 - 9 as annual plant. The Joker variety reaches a height of 72 - 84 inches.
Sunflowers are great for the back of the flower border or next to outbuildings. Plant a row of Sunflowers to create a temporary screen.
