Smooth-Cast 300 is a ultra-low viscosity POLYURETHANE liquid plastic casting resin that creates bright white and virtually bubble free reproductions and models. Works great with Silicone Rubber Molds and Urethane Rubber Molds (release agent required). Vacuum degassing is not necessary. It offers the convenience of a 1A:1B by volume or 100A:90B by weight mix ratio, with a pot life of 3 minutes and cure time of 10 minutes. This casting resin readily accepts fillers (such as URE-FIL 3) and can be colored with SO-Strong or Ignite color tints that will mix with white finish to produce “pastel” colored castings. NOTE: Smooth-Cast 325 series (translucent amber) accepts pigments better than the Smooth Cast 300 series (white) - for color matching accuracy, use Smooth-Cast 325 series. Fully cured castings are tough, durable, machinable and paintable. They resist moisture and mild solvents. Applications for Smooth-Cast 300 include reproducing small to medium size sculptures, making prototype models, special effect props and decorative jewelry. IMPORTANT: Use in a properly ventilated area with at least room size ventilation. Wear safety glasses, long sleeves and rubber gloves to minimize contamination risk. Store and use materials in a warm environment (73°F/23°C). CAUTION: In case of eye contact, flush with water for 15 minutes. If irritation persists, get medical attention. For skin contact, wash with soap and water. Keep Out Of Reach Of Children.
