About D'Addario Kaplan Cello String - Single G String
The Kaplan cello strings produce a rich and complex tone. Conceived for the most discerning musicians, they stand up well to extreme bow pressure, and provide a powerful but warm sound. Kaplan cello strings are scaled to fit a 4/4 size instrument with a playing length of 27 1/2 inches (700mm). Heavy tension strings allow for greater projection and volume potential, while light tension strings allow for easier bow response. Medium tension strings are optimized to the needs of a majority of players.
