The Ignitor T is yet another in a long line of knives developed by Ken Steigerwalt, an award-winning designer out of Orangeville, PA whose patented Fire Safe safety mechanism is used on many CRKT blades. A far cry from Ken’s first knife he made from a saw blade as a kid, this one features a blade that rips through tasks. A non-reflective dark gray titanium nitride coated modified drop point blade with a high hollow grind stands at the ready. It’s available with your choice of plain edge or combination edge with our patented Veff Serrations, which are superior for fast cutting of cord, netting, and vegetation. When you’re ready to spring into action, firmly depress the Fire Safe button and nudge the thumb stud outward. Our patented Outburst assisted opening mechanism takes over the rest of the way like a co-worker who has your back. When closed, the blade is safely locked into place by the Fire Safe safety pin. This knife doesn’t just feel good in action. It feels good in hand too. The frame uses our rigid InterFrame build with stainless steel liners, one locking liner, and layered, textured G10 scales for exceptional grip. The deep finger choil and pommel fit your palm nicely.
