These Skullgard helmets have been tested to radiant heat loads producing temperatures up to, but not exceeding 350°F. A smooth crown allows for the easiest use of all MSA welding equipment. Meet the voluntary standard for reverse donning, low temperature [LT], higher temperature [HT[, and Hi-Viz [HV].

Features a high-quality sweatband and nylon height adjusters for superior comfort and a semi-custom fit. Designed to easily clip into the cap shell, allowing users to adjust their liner for a secure fit.

MEETS PROFESSIONAL STANDARDS: Skullgard Caps meet all applicable requirements for a Type I (top impact) helmet as outlined in ANSI/ISEA Z89.1-2014 (Class G). These caps have been fully third-party tested and certified by SEI. Date codes are molded into the underside of the shell’s brim with the year and month in which that specific shell was manufactured. **This date does not indicate a helmet’s service life; the service life begins when it is placed into service.** – See attached FAQ sheet

Product Description Hardhat Skullgard Natural Tan Pin-Lock Fiberglass Nylon From the Manufacturer Skullgard hats feature heavy-duty construction for use in steel mills and other heavy industries where elevated temperatures are common. These hardhats are extremely comfortable and easy to wear. Includes four-point webbed Staz-on suspension. Skullgards are SEI certified and meets or exceeds the applicable requirements for a Type 1 helmet (top impact) as outlined in ANSI Z89.1 2003, Class G (electrical-low voltage). Also meets ANSI/ISEA Z89.1-2009 voluntary standard for reverse donning.
