The La Sportiva Wildcat Men’s 2.0 GTX trail runners are great for big backcountry runs on rugged terrain where all day comfort, ankle support and foot protection are critical. Blending light weight with comfort, the Wildcat is a favorite shoe of ultra-runners and PCT, JMT, AT thru hikers alike. Frixion rubber soles with sizable dual density lugs are extremely sticky giving you great traction on loose rock, rough trails and even in the mud. The Impact Brake System keeps that stability even during steep descents or when you need to slow down and change directions. Full mesh uppers keep these shoes surprisingly light, and the added Gore-Tex layer keeps them dry too. Quick drying mesh vents sweat preventing blisters and keeping your feet cool even in high summer temps. Overbuilt rubber toes provide durability for miles and miles of abuse. The nylon shank protects your forefoot from bruising even when hiking with a small pack or scrambling over sharp rocks all day long.
