From the Manufacturer This extra heavy duty fiberglass twin stepladder has a 300 pound duty rating (type IA). Twin stepladders have steps on both sides and can support its duty rating on each side, two people can climb this ladder at the same time. This ladder is made from nonconductive fiberglass rails for added protection from electrical hazards. Features include heavy aluminum internal Pinch-Proof spreaders, Slip-resistant extra wide Traction-Tred steps, knee bracing on every step, and a large aluminum heavy gauge extruded top with thick side plates. Full height non-conductive fiberglass rail shields reinforce bottom ends for increased durability. Every rivet is backed up by a metal part or washer.
